I'm working on a final draft of a paper right now and my professor kind of accused me of plagiarism because I used the term "character arc" in my paper.

Try using the Jules original "fake character arc" instead. I promise I won't sue. The only thing though is you'd have to make your paper strictly about Wesley.

Well, I have to write about King Lear and Beowulf (which are horrible guidelines because they have nothing in common) or else I would.

That is strange. Did he explain why that would be considered plagiarism? Because that sounds cray cray.

She just bracketed a paragraph in my paper and wrote, "Are these your words?". When I asked her about it she just said, "Oh, it's because you used the term character arc and most students don't know what that is." But then I don't understand why she'd bracket the entire paragraph.

Is this a freshman level class or something? I find it odd and hard to believe that most students wouldn't be familiar with the concept of character arcs in a college level class discussing classic literature.

I thought it was weird too. The class is mostly English majors and I'm an English major so I have no idea why it'd be odd.

Well I guess the good news is your teacher seems to have incredibly low standards when it comes to the quality of work she expects from her students, so if you can convince her you aren't cheating you should be able to get an easy A.

Also I was just watching some of Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed and poor Sarah Michelle Gellar, her career deserved much better than this. This is exactly what Freddie Prinze Jr. deserves, however.

Wow. I think the term character arc is common knowledge and lots of students should know it, so it is strange to accuse you of lifting from another source.

Linda Cardellini is an unsung victim of these movies.

Oh yeah it was painful watching her as Velma. Other than Grandma's Boy she hasn't seemed to be able to get any decent work since F&G, which is a terrible shame.

She's got a voice role on Gravity Falls, which is a very good show that's been schedule fucked by Disney.

Who does she voice on Gravity Falls? I love that show, but didn't realize she worked on it.

I remember watching a lot of it and it being the worst thing which was sad because whoever the hell directed it did the cutscenes in Devil May Cry 3.

Heh isn't Iron Sky the movie with moon Nazis? That sounds hilariously awful. I need to see it.

Skyfall was goddamn amazing, of course. Q reminded me of Obscure for one second, and then I moved on to how great the new Q was. Select the black box below with your cursor to view the spoiler text
They need to throw tons of money at Ralph Fines to get him to appear in the next one, since he's great as the new M. This one felt more like a reboot than Casino Royale did.
