It's so hard for me to narrow it down to one. I'm a huge fan of Romero's trilogy, Snyder's Dawn remake, and of course, Night of the Creeps. I'd say these are my favorites. Throw Danny Boyle's 28 ... Later films too if you consider them zombie films.

What about you?

. I just flat out could not get into and after the opening credits, had a hard time enjoying anything that was on the screen. You called me out on it when I first saw it as well. Maybe a rewatch might remedy that, but I didn't watch Return of the Living Dead that long ago. Or maybe I just suck.

And Massive is going to yell at me too.

Here's a zombie question... zombies eat corpses, right? Also, corpses become zombies, right? So if a zombie attacks someone and kills them, they begin eating the flesh... but the newly dead person also becomes a zombie. Does the zombie that's eating him just stop, and let the corpse walk away? Sure, they like warm flesh, but it should take a while for the new zombie to become all cold and unappetizing... also, if it's just warm flesh, would zombies eat one another in particularly hot climates, where the dead bodies would be the same temperature as living people?

i'm guessing that blood flow has something to do with all the lust for flesh eating.

Dead Set

Anyone who hasn't seen it, remedy that immediately. Best zombie movie of the last two decades.

It takes too much from Romeros films for it to be great based on Originality, but it's still pretty damn good.

I liked it ok, I guess. Best zombie movie of the last two decades, though? Not even close. I mean, it's not even slightly original. It's Dawn of the Dead meets Big Brother. Bleh. I'd rather watch Dawn of the Dead.

All I can say is stay pretty far away from Bruno Mattei's last Zombie movies. According to IMDB he's considered 'The Italian Ed Wood'. That about sums it up.

Also not a good idea to watch everything with the word Zombie in the title.

I've come across some of his movies before, I'd have to say IMDB is dead on for once.

Originality, in a zombie movie? Not many ways to do that idea. What Dead Set did, IMO, better than any I've seen in forever, is give me a cast full of characters and I didn't see a weak link in there. I never rolled my eyes, my interest never wavered...I was riveted for every second. The script was sharp as hell, the acting was across the board great and the direction matched those two perfect. I loved it. I remember starting it late one night, figuring I'd watch one segment and call it a night since I had to work the next morning...I watched the entire thing without so much as blinking. I wish it would get a slight edit and get released as a movie over here.

I could probably edit it to movie length for you, I want to do it too since i just burned them by episode and the opening is annoying.
