It is absolutely absurd that I cannot post when I am running Explorer 6.0. This is without a doubt among the most commonly used browsers. OT has a few mere posters left and many of the people who made this place a destination are no longer here. In my estimation, if this is not fixed your forums and community will be irrevocably harmed. Is there any estimate on when this might be fixed?

no matter how many times I set my notification preferences for my subscribed threads, it keeps sending emails, until I give up and unsubscribe. I literally can't subscribe to any new threads unless I want to submit to email notifications for every blessed post.

Try blocking RT as spam on your email.

Considering Internet Explorer sucks, you should just use Firefox. It's far better.

I hope you guys get this if your name and password are the same u can't change it or logout it basicly wraps you around to the v bullitin over and over again so you can't use the forums at all i had to make a new account on another comp dump my cookies and password saves then relog in as my new name then change my name it sucks i can't use my old name this needs to be fixed.

OK. How do I actually find the GD page? So far I go to my subscribed threads, click on one, and then click on General Discussion at the top. I don't see any links to the GD forum on the RT home page or on my RT blog page.

And I tried posting my question by clicking on the Post Reply button and entering it there. It showed me the preview of my question but did not post the actual message. I had to use the Quick Reply box instead.

IE6 won't let you post until they fix it.

And to find the GD page, go to Community Beta, then Forums on the left under the Movies button.

There's a rather massive group of posters they're STILL alienating because of the IE6 problem.

It's nice and all to implement changes to improve the community experience to help the community grow, but don't they realize they've shattered the existing community? I mean, you say you're going to improve the community experience and then completely screw over the existing community? This is dumbfounding.

I know the IE6 issue is a huge one, and I'm prodding the Engineers every day about it. What I was told today was that they're still working on it, but it will not be fully corrected until next week. I'll do my best to provide any additional updates on it as the week goes on.
